Senior house cleaning in Calgary and Airdrie can take the more tiring jobs off your list without changing the way you like your home. Many of our clients are older adults. Some book for themselves; others have adult children who help arrange and pay for visits. Either way, we start with the person who lives in the home: their priorities, their preferences and the rooms that matter most.
Our senior special is CAD $45 per labour-hour for NEW clients booking regular cleaning weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. The minimum is four labour-hours per visit, and GST is extra. Our standard single one-time cleaning rate is CAD $60 per labour-hour; that is a different booking option from this recurring senior offer.
What our regular cleaning can take care of
Start with the work that feels most demanding. In a Calgary house, that may mean the main bathroom and kitchen; in an Airdrie home, it might be the entrance, living area and bedroom used every day. We agree on the priorities and available cleaning time before the visit.
Bathrooms: clean the toilet, sink, bathtub or shower surfaces and mirror, then clean the floor.
Kitchen: clean countertops, sink and stovetop, wipe appliance exteriors and cabinet fronts.
Living areas and bedrooms: dust accessible furniture and surfaces, vacuum rugs and floors, and make the bed as agreed.
Floors and entryways: vacuum and mop suitable surfaces, with attention to the rooms and routes you use most.
A $45 senior rate with clear conditions
This is a new-client offer for weekly, bi-weekly or monthly regular home cleaning. At CAD $45 per labour-hour, the four-labour-hour minimum is CAD $180 plus GST. The final quote depends on the agreed work and time; a four-hour booking is not a promise to complete every room in every home.
A labour-hour is one employee working for one hour. For example, two cleaners working for two hours provide four labour-hours. We confirm the team arrangement and expected visit length when booking, so you know what the quoted hours mean.
Tell us if the home needs a more intensive initial clean or a separate task such as carpet steam cleaning. Those services need their own scope and quote; the senior regular-cleaning price should not be assumed to cover them.
Booking for a parent? Make it a joint decision
A useful starting point is: “Which jobs would you most like someone else to do?” A parent may want bathroom help but prefer to keep doing the kitchen themselves. Agree on that list together before arranging a visit.
Ask the recipient's permission before booking and discuss which rooms are included.
Choose one contact for scheduling, explain who will provide access and confirm who will pay.
Tell us about pets, delicate items and anything the resident does not want moved.
Agree on where everyday belongings should be returned after surfaces are cleaned.
You do not need to turn the visit into a full reorganization. We can work from a clear cleaning list while keeping familiar arrangements in place. If a family member will not be there, give us the access and communication instructions in advance.
Choose a routine around the home
Weekly visits may suit a home where kitchen and bathroom tasks build up quickly. Bi-weekly cleaning provides a regular reset between visits. Monthly visits can focus on agreed priorities, but a longer gap can also mean more work at each appointment. We help estimate the time from the home's size, condition and requested tasks.
For houses with several levels, tell us which floors and rooms are part of the booking. A clear plan is more useful than assuming that every room needs the same attention every time.

Cleaning Fairy uses trained employees and an insured team. Supplies and equipment are included, so you do not have to buy a separate set of cleaning products for the appointment. Our team follows cleaning standards, with field management supporting quality checks and follow-up.
Share preferences before the visit, including delicate finishes, products you do not want used and the best way to enter the home. Our service is household cleaning. If the resident needs personal assistance or medical care, arrange that separately.

Is the $45 price available for any cleaning service?
No. This offer covers regular home cleaning for new senior clients on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly schedule. Deep cleaning, move-out cleaning, carpet or upholstery cleaning and other specialized work need a separate scope and quote.
